And So It Begins...

Summer has finally arrived and it is time to bring indoor living outside!

By now, you should have chosen a few amazing furniture pieces to entertain on as well as create the perfect living room for your backyard. Here are just a few tips to ensure that you are making the most of your summer.

1. Mix it Up! Just because you have chosen a sofa and 2 chairs, does not mean they all have to be the same color fabric. The sofa can be striped, while the 2 chairs can be upholstered in solid fabric or perennial basket weave. And if you really want to mix it up, add 2 ottomans that will have the same fabric as the sofa.

2. Add an outdoor rug! There are so many chic outdoor rugs that look like they belong inside in your living room or bedroom but are designed for outdoor living. By adding a rug, it will help ground the space as well as delineate the seating area.

3. Who says your linen napkins can't come outside? Use your linen napkins when throwing your outdoor soiree. Not only does it add a chic element, but you are helping the environment by not adding to the landfill.

4. Have fun choosing your melamine dishware. Choose a set that you love, and then mix it up with a few of your own china pieces. Not only will it look beautiful, it will show your friends and family how much you care.

Finally, have some fun entertaining outdoors. Create the space of your dreams and make sure that you take full advantage of these 3 summer months of outdoor living.

Happy summer!
